Arvind Singh, Singapore

Arvind brings two decades of international banking experience at leading banks such as Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank. He started his banking career with consumer bank at Citibank India. Based in Singapore since 1991, Arvind held various regional roles in the area of product management, sales, project management and risk management. Arvind led a global credit risk re‐engineering initiative for the wholesale Bank at Standard Chartered in view of Basel 2. A Physics major, Arvind completed his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (84) and Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School (98).

 

Arun Diaz, India & Indonesia

Arun brings nearly 30 years’ of senior level international banking and consulting experience gained at Standard Chartered Bank and more recently, with Reuters. Arun has managed banking operations, led large technology and change programs including Y2K and a global cross‐border processing program. As Programme Director for the Bank’s Fit for Growth Program, Arun led the creation of off‐shore processing hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Chennai, India.

 

David Faulkner, United Kingdom

David has over 30 years of experience in Operations and Product / Program Management in large Financial Institutions like Citibank, Standard Chartered & DBS. David is a multi-cultural global leader who has been involved in many outsourcing, insourcing and offshoring projects, which gives him a significant expertise in change management & Operational Risks. In his last role, David was the Head of Technology & Operations at DBS Bank Singapore, in charge of Wholesale banking, Consumer Banking & Wealth Management. Earlier to that he had held several senior roles including Head of Transaction Services - Operations and Product Management, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Electronic Channels, Investor Services/Custody.

 

Sanjaya Anand, Shanghai, China

Sanjaya brings over 24 years of Human Resources Management experience across diverse industry sectors such as Banking and Financial Services, FMCG, Manufacturing and Media/Advertising. He started his career with the TATA group and thereafter worked with the UB group, DCM, Gillette and Lintas. His previous corporate employment was with American Express as the HR Director for India and Sri Lanka. An Economics Major, Sanjaya completed his MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur (80) and has also obtained a Bachelor Degree in Law.

 

Andy Dyer, Hong Kong

Andy spent 16yrs with Standard Chartered Bank where he worked in a variety of roles within the transaction banking, strategy and treasury departments. His last role was Managing Director in charge of the bank's transaction banking business in North East Asia. Andy was also responsible for developing the banks Wholesale Bank internet platform and their regional cash management platform. Andy has been living in Asia since 1996. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Andy qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross in London. Andy is also a full member of the UK Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds a degree in Economics from Southampton University and was a commissioned officer in the British Army.

 

Sandeep Mehta, Singapore

Sandeep is a Banking professional with over 16 years experience in various Senior roles in large organisations in multiple countries.  He was with Citibank in Singapore and Hong Kong for more than 9 years in various Asia Pacific roles – Regional Project Manager, Regional Operations Coordinator, Regional Systems Implementation Manager and Regional e-Commerce Business Development Manager. In Citibank, he was instrumental in number of regional process rollouts and system implementations. He also spearheaded the development and implementation of Citibank’s B2B internet payment gateway in Asia. After that, he also spent over 3 years with DBS Bank in a senior Operations role in Singapore & Thailand. He has also been on the panel of Prominent speakers at a couple of Banking conferences. At Quest, Sandeep leads the consulting practice and is also involved in executive recruitment. Sandeep is an IIT Bombay graduate, and is a National Merit scholarship holder.

Dading T Soetarso, Jakarta, Thailand

Dading brings over 15 years of experience mainly with leading international banks such as Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank in the areas of Corporate Banking, Strategic and business development role, and Human Resources both in Indonesia as well as Corporate Bank Head in Botswana. Dading brings strong credit and risk management discipline, as part of credit culture. Dading earned his MBA from Boston University Overseas in Brussels.

 

Kiet Nguyen, Hochiminh City, Vietnam

Holding double BAs from University, Kiet has close to 11 years of hand-on experience working mostly for consultative selling foreign organisations in human resources, covering different functions of Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FMCG, Industrials, Wholesaling/ Retailing and Manufacturing industry. Kiet also has experience in the implementation project for SAP HR, some couples of years in handling overseas staffing and labour relations management in Malaysia.

 

Manahil Zaffar Mirza, Singapore
